Modified on Tue, 25 Mar at 6:57 AM

Introduction

In AgriChain, you have the ability to save important notes and attach files to a commodity contract. These notes and files are accessible only to users with the relevant permissions.

Steps to add Notes:

1. Click on 'Contracts' in the left navigation bar. This action will lead you to a list of contracts associated with your profile.

2. Locate and click on the specific contract you wish to edit from the list. This will take you to the contract details page.

3. On the top of the contract details page, you will find various tabs related to contract actions and freight activities. Click on the 'Audit History' tab.

4. To include a note, type it into the text box on the right side of the screen. Subsequently, click the 'Add Note' button. Your note will be appended to the audit history text box on the left side of the screen.

5. Click the button to add a file to the audit history. Choose the file you want to attach from the file explorer, then click 'Open.' Provide a note for the file attachment and click. The file and note will then be added to the audit history text box on the left side of the screen.

Important Information:

The audit history captures the author, date, and time of all notes and files added to the contract. This ensures a transparent and organized record of contract-related activities.
