Third-Party Stocks (Subscriber Only)
This section allows users to see all the stock stored at their sites (or managed sites), segregated by commodity, NGR, or grade combinations.
Users can filter stocks using the provided options; however, an owner (or the "All Owners" option available at the bottom of the list) must be selected for the stocks to show. Other filters (commodity, grade, season) are optional.
Before selecting an Owner (above),
After selecting an owner, all All Owners in this case (above)
As in the "My Stocks" view, each NGR/grade combination has a separate row item, whereas multiple seasons and varieties are combined into one.
Users (site managers) have a few options to manage stock stored at their sites:
- Loads: Similar to My Stocks, this will show users a load-by-load history for each NGR/location combination.
- Empty and Update Stock: These options allow site managers to change the tonnage (or make it '0' in the case of Empty Stock). As in "My Stocks", the system automatically creates loads to reach the desired tonnage.
Important Note:
Stock updates in ownership do not automatically reflect in the storage view. For instance, if the tonnage of a specific commodity, such as wheat, is updated from 20 MT to 30 MT in "My Stocks," the corresponding value in the storage view will remain at 20 MT. This discrepancy occurs because the storage view operates independently of individual stock updates. Instead, it relies on separate processes or manual adjustments to synchronize stock data accurately across different sections of the platform. Therefore, users should be mindful of this distinction and ensure that stock information is consistently updated across relevant views to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Regrade/Reseason: This option can be used to change the season or grade of a stock. Site managers can define fees while regrading or reseasoning stock.
- Stock Swap: Use this option to swap stock from one site to another. Fees and differentials can be defined for each swap.
- Transfer: This allows site managers to create a title transfer, changing ownership of a stock without changing its location.
