AutoWeigh Pickup Orders Using Slot Bookings – Fully Automated – Containers

Modified on Fri, 27 Feb at 3:23 PM

Introduction

Autoweigh is an AgriChain-powered solution that automates the pickup (outload) and delivery (inload) of commodities at your site.

Parameters

This guide will be applicable for the following:

  • Post-Harvest Pickup Orders
  • Using Slot Bookings (‘Site Management’ module)
  • Fully Automated solution with weigh ins and weigh outs at the AutoWeigh kiosk(s)
  • Containers

Slot Booking Limitations:

  • Please note that the weights displayed on AgriChain’s slot booking (NOT AutoWeigh) will only reflect the first container/tank’s weight.
  • Please note that if two containers/tanks are to be picked up and each container/tank is on a separate order, only one slot needs to be booked. This slot will only reflect the weights of the first container/tank’s against the first order.

At the Inbound AutoWeigh Kiosk

1. The ANPR camera will detect the truck registration number (rego). The driver touches the inbound kiosk screen to begin.

2. Scheduled slots against pickup orders will be automatically displayed on the screen for selection. The driver will need to select the correct scheduled slot if there is more than one available.

Important: Drivers do NOT need to 'Load their truck' using the AgriChain Mobile App.

3. The driver will review and confirm the booking details displayed on the kiosk screen.

4. With container/tanker pickups, the driver will need to select whether they are picking up one or two containers/tankers.

Important: Please note that container/tanker pickup orders created on AgriChain must have its ‘Packaging’ nominated as ‘Container’ in order for AutoWeigh to detect this.

5. This is followed by re-confirming their saved mass limit details.

6. If unavailable or incorrect, the driver will need to input the truck’s mass limit weight and select the applicable truck code.

Important: Please note that saved mass limit details will only be displayed if a truck has previously visited the site and completed a movement.

7. Once done, the driver will nominate whether split weighing is required.

Important: Split weighing will ONLY be required if the truck is longer than the site’s weighbridge.

8. Next, the driver will be instructed on the VMS display board to drive onto the weighbridge for the weigh in.

9. At the weighbridge stand, outload data will need to be entered on the AgriChain Mobile App by the weighbridge stand operator. This includes:

  • Commodity details, if editable.
  • Outload Storage location.
  • Specifications, if applicable.
  • Entering the Container or Tanker Identification Number in the ‘Comments’ field, if applicable.

The weighbridge stand operator can also ‘Print [a] Storage Docket’ and pass this to the driver. The driver will then know which storage to load at.

Important: Autoweigh will not allow the driver/truck to complete its weigh out if outload data is not entered on the AgriChain Mobile App.

10. Once the driver finishes loading their truck, they will make their way to the outbound kiosk to weigh out.

At the Outbound AutoWeigh Kiosk

1. The ANPR camera will detect the truck registration number (rego). The driver touches the outbound kiosk screen to begin.

2. The driver will review and confirm the weigh in details displayed on the kiosk screen.

3. Once done, the driver will nominate whether split weighing is required.

Important: Split weighing will ONLY be required if the truck is longer than the site’s weighbridge.

4. The driver will also be asked on the number of dockets they would like printed.

5. The driver will then need to sign off on their Chain of Responsibility declaration.

6. Finally, the driver will be instructed on the VMS display board to drive onto the weighbridge for the weigh out.

7. If the driver is only picking up one container/tank, the pickup is complete.

8. If the driver is picking up more than one container/tank, they will proceed to pick up the second container/tank. Once done, the driver will make their way to the outbound kiosk for the second container/tank weigh out.

At the Outbound Autoweigh Kiosk – Second Container/Tank

1. The ANPR camera will detect the truck registration number (rego). If it is a multi-container/tank pickup, AutoWeigh will detect this.

2. The driver will then need to confirm if the second container/tank is on the same pickup order number as the previous container/tank or a different pickup order number.

3. If the second container/tank is on a DIFFERENT order number, the driver will need to enter the second order number.

4. From here, the driver will need to:

→ Same Order: Review and confirm the weigh in details displayed on the kiosk screen again.

→ Different Order: Review and confirm the second order’s details displayed on the kiosk screen.

5. Once done, the driver will nominate whether split weighing is required.

Important: Split weighing will ONLY be required if the truck is longer than the site’s weighbridge.

6. The driver will also be asked on the number of dockets they would like printed.

7. The driver will then need to sign off on their Chain of Responsibility declaration again.

8. Finally, the driver will be instructed on the VMS display board to drive onto the weighbridge for the weigh out.

9. Once weighed out, the pickup for both containers/tanks is complete.
