Introduction

Title Transfers are used to transfer ownership of commodities from Seller to Buyer. Often, this is between a Grower (Seller) and a Buyer at a Site using AgriChain. Title Transfers can be created by a Grower on the AgriChain Mobile App.

To create a Title Transfer on the Mobile App, please follow the steps below:

  1. On the Home Section of your Mobile App, go to your 'Transfers' section. To note, depending on your device type (Android or Apple), the layout may differ slightly.
  2. On the 'Title Transfer' page, click on the green 'New Transfer' button to create a new title transfer.
  3. On the New Title Transfer form, select or input the relevant details.
    • Contract No. (Optional): Select the Contract No. that you are transferring against OR Enter/Select the External Contract No. you are transferring against.
    • Site: The Site at which you have stock at for the transfer.
  4. Once the relevant details have been selected/inputted:
    • Available Stock will be displayed: It is important to have available stock prior to transferring grain.
    • Tonnage to be transferred MT: Input the exact tonnage to be transferred against the Contract No.
  5. Once ready, click on the 'Next' button.
  6. Review the Title Transfer details and click on the 'Confirm Transfer' button to finalise it.
  7. The Title Transfer will be created and stock ownership will transfer from the Seller to the Buyer.
  8. You can view a list of your Historical Title Transfers in the 'Transfers' section.

Common Question

Q: Why can't I select enter tonnage to transfer?

A: Some commodity (i.e. Canola) requires a 'Load by Load' transfer. As a result, Title Transfer for such commodities must select each loads individually by clicking 'Select Loads'.
