How to apply application

Modified on Tue, 8 Apr at 12:19 PM

Introduction

To define the application for a fertiliser, you will have to first create the application rate (L/MT) of Flutriafol. You may set multiple application rate for future uses. To create application rate, head to company details by clicking on your initial or profile picture on the top right corner of the screen. Once there, click on Fees and select Application RatesThis step is vital for Order creation on AgriChain web platform.

Then, you may proceed to create a blended contract with fertiliser as the commodity.

  • Select the grade of the fertiliser
  • Add Application. You have to define the price of application per liter and the application fee per Metric Ton (MT).

Create a Freight Order against the contract.

  • While creating Freight Order, you may enter the relevant application details such as Application Rate and what fertiliser to apply it on.

Once that is done, you may also create a Freight Movement against the Freight Order directly on the Freight Order page, or through Freight Scheduler. See this article to learn more about creating Freight Movement.

Freight Order: Creating a Freight Movement for a Freight Order

To process load, make sure there is a Freight Movement planned so that you can process the load against the Freight Movement.

On Mobile App:

  • Click "INLOADS + OUTLOADS"
  • Select new Outload
  • In Outload, select "Order/Movement no". Then, select the relevant Movement to outload against and the field will populate automatically. You may then add outload.

  • Once you have click "Add Outload", a status bar will appear and you may click "+Storage" to continue.
  • Click on the commodity displayed and select Pickup Storage and add Application.

  • In this step, you can select what commodity that you like to apply chemical on and define the application rate. Once you have define the application rate, the system will automatically calculate the litres of chemical required and update the stock level. After all details have been added, click 'Save'

Note: Missing this step will result in application fee not flowing to invoices.

  • Back in the status bar, click "+Gross" to add Gross Weight of the pickup and save.
  • Complete the load and sign off the Chain of Responsibility.

On web platform:

  • Head to the movement you have created against the Freight Order.
  •  Scroll down to Load Details and click Add.

  • While adding outload details, make sure to enter Application information to ensure that the information is recorded for invoicing purposes.

Note: Missing this step will result in application fee not flowing to invoices.

Common Question

Q: What if I did not set the application in Contract?

A: Unfortunately, you will have to void and duplicate the Contract and ensure that the application details have been entered.

Q: Why do I need to enter application details inFreight Order and Freight Movement?

A: The reason is that the Freight Order informs the party about a chemical application on the fertiliser, but it has not occurred yet. A similar concept applies to the Freight Order not updating the stock level until a Freight Movement has been completed. Therefore, it is crucial to set the application in the Freight Movement.
