BHC Automation Service – CBH Deliveries

Modified on Fri, 10 Apr at 3:17 PM

Introduction

AgriChain offers automation services when delivering into certain Bulk Handling Company (BHC) sites. This allows tracking and reconciliation of deliveries into NON-AgriChain managed BHC sites, making the loads visible on your AgriChain account.

Currently, the BHC automation service is available for:

  • Bunge (Ezigrain)
  • CBH
  • GrainCorp
  • GrainFlow (Cargill)

Please note that deliveries into AgriChain managed sites will automatically be recorded and visible in your AgriChain account.

Prior Access Setup Required

During the setup process, AgriChain will organise access setup directly with you. Please note that prior access setup is required in order for this service to function.

Prior CDF Setup Required

Prior to using this service, on your CBH CDF app, you will need to set up or amend the 'Paddock Code' and 'Paddock Name' to be the exact same as the field and storage names on AgriChain. There is no distinction between fields and storages on CBH.

Example 1: Fields

  • CDF Paddock Code: Field 01
  • CDF Paddock Name: Field 01
  • AgriChain Field Name: Field 01

Example 2: Storages

  • CDF Paddock Code: Storage 01
  • CDF Paddock Name: Storage 01
  • AgriChain Storage Name: Storage 01

Delivering into CBH

  1. When delivering into CBH, please do NOT use the AgriChain Mobile App to outload from your field or on-farm storage.
  2. Drivers are to load their trucks physically and drive to their CBH site for delivery.
  3. At the site, Drivers must record the field or storage name in the 'Paddocks' field on the CDF app.
  4. These details will enable AgriChain to cross-check and complete the full details of a movement.

Scope of the integration with CBH API

  • Customer creates the load in CDF App and CBH records the inload - NO ACTION REQUIRED ON AGRICHAIN WEB OR MOBILE APP
  • AgriChain will automatically create movements (with both outload and inload) based on the data received from the CBH API
  • CBH reuses load numbers from previous season, so if a load number is used which already exists in AgriChain from past season, we will append "-2026" to it in the AgriChain movement no
  • Loads are synced every 10 mins (from 6AM-6PM, and once at midnight) and create equivalent movements in AgriChain (with movement number being same as CBH load number)
  • Inload will be created with weights, variety, specs, grade, delivery site, datetime as recorded in CBH Loadnet
  • Outload will have all the same data as Inload except
    • Date Time (it will be recorded as 2 hrs less than Inload Date Time)
    • Field/Storage in AgriChain movement depends on the exact matching of CBH Paddock Name (in CBH Loadnet Paddock Planner) with AgriChain Field/Storage name. If not found then outload is created with Unknown Field (with CBH Paddock value received shown in Outload comments)
    • Outload is split in two if CBH sends two Paddocks (in proportion recorded by CBH)
  • Load Nomination - Movement is automatically assigned to the matching contract in AgriChain when load is nominated in CBH Loadnet. Contract number, Grades, Delivery Sites in nominated load must match with what's mentioned in AgriChain contract, otherwise nomination fails.
  • Load Split - Quantity in the existing movement in AgriChain is updated and a new movement with split quantity is created with same movement no as CBH load number
  • Load Optimisation - Grade in existing AgriChain movement is updated in both outload and inload
