Navigating and Viewing My Stocks

Modified on Thu, 28 Aug at 4:26 AM

Introduction

The My Stocks tab gives a user a view of all the stocks under NGRs in which they are a shareholder. Any stock that is kept in a location owned by a subscribed user is visible. Alternatively, if the viewing party is a subscriber, they can view stock at both subscriber and non-subscriber sites.

Step-by-step Instructions on how to get to the My Stock tab:

  1. Log in to AgriChain using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Stock module from the left-hand side menu.
  3. Select the My Stocks tab to see all the grains under your ownership.

In the My Stocks tab, you will be able to see your stock divided into groups of different NGRs, locations, commodities, and grade combinations (vs the storage view, where multiple grades are clubbed together).

To see all your loads, please expand the commodity and click into any line item.

  • Loads: Similar to the storage view, this will show users a load-by-load history for each NGR/Location combination

In the 'My Stock' tab, you may download several reports, including the Acquisition Report, to see your grain ownership. To generate a report, please look for the cloud icon with a download sign. To learn more about the Acquisition Report, please refer to this article [Refer Article].

You may also perform the following action:

  • Empty Stock:  Empty stock allows users to zero out their stock. As in the Storages View, the system automatically creates loads to reach the desired tonnage.
  • Update Stock: Update stock allows users to update the stock information, such as site stored, commodity, grade, season, and tonnage.
Important Note:
Empty Stock and Stock Updates in ownership do not automatically reflect in the storage view. For instance, if the tonnage of a specific commodity, such as wheat, is updated from 20 MT to 30 MT in 'My Stocks', the corresponding value in the storage view will remain at 20 MT. This discrepancy occurs because the storage view operates independently of individual stock updates. To ensure that the two view are in-sync, please ensure that you have ticked 'Manage Storages' and select the corresponding storages and tonnage while performing these action.
  • Regrade/Reseason: This option can be used to change the season or grade of a stock.

  • Stock Swap: Use this option to swap stock from one site to another.
  • Transfer: This allows users to create a title transfer, changing ownership of a stock without changing its location.
Note: Some options will not work where the stock is held at the site of a subscribed user, where the site owner has opted to manage stock or transfers independently.
