Introduction

Title transfers are critical milestones in the grain transfer process, and understanding their status is key to efficient management. This article aims to elucidate the different statuses a title transfer can assume and the implications of each.


Title Transfer Status:

Completed: This status is displayed to both parties when the scheduled transfer date for a title transfer is current or in the past.
Implication: Indicates that the grain transfer has been executed and ownership has shifted to the buyer.
Visibility: Shared between both parties.

Void: This status reflects the cancellation or voiding of a title transfer. Importantly, this action is irreversible.
Implication: This signifies that the title transfer has been nullified.
Visibility: Shared between both parties.

Invoiced: This status is displayed once the title transfer has been completed and the corresponding invoice has been issued to the buyer.
Implication: Indicates that the grain transfer has been executed and ownership has shifted to the buyer.
Visibility: Shared between both parties.


Planned: This status is displayed when a title transfer has been scheduled but the transfer date is set for a future date.
Implication: Indicates that the grain movement/ownership change is arranged but has not yet occurred. No ownership shift has taken place at this stage.
Visibility: Visible to both parties to allow review of upcoming title transfer details.
