Introduction
Title Transfers play a crucial role in the transfer of ownership of commodities, particularly in the context of grain deliveries. However, there might be instances where you need to void a title transfer. Follow the steps below to successfully void a title transfer.
Step by Step Instructions to Void a Title Transfer:
- Log in to AgriChain using your credentials.
- Navigate to the Title Transfer module from the left-hand side menu.
- Once in the Title Transfer tab, you will find a list of Title Transfers. Identify and select the specific Title Transfer that you want to void.
- Click on the three-dot menu, the right-hand side of the line, associated with the chosen Title Transfer.
- Select "Void" to void the Title Transfer.
- Note: You may also select "Void and Duplicate" if you want to create the same Title Transfer but need to change some details.
- A confirmation screen will appear. Proceed to click 'Submit'. At this point, it's mandatory to add notes explaining the reason for deleting the TT.
- A pop-up will appear to mandate email PDF copies of the voided Title Transfer to your counterparty.
FAQs
Can we void all Title Transfers at any point?
No. If a Title Transfer is in invoiced status, voiding is not possible. Only Title Transfers with statuses such as completed, action pending, or awaiting confirmation can be voided.
How to void a Title Transfer that has been invoiced?
You will need to void the invoice first before the Title Transfer can be reverted to 'Completed' status, which can be voided.
Can you revive a voided Title Transfer?
No. Once a Title Transfer has been voided, the action is irreversible. To reinstate, you'll need to create a new title transfer.
