How do I Understand the Position Report Summary Bar?

Introduction

At the top of the Position Report you will find a summary bar with key headline numbers across your entire portfolio. These cards update instantly when you apply commodity or season filters.

Summary cards

Net Physical Position: total purchases minus total sales across all physical contracts, shown in tonnes.
Total Purchases: sum of all outstanding buy-side physical contracts.
Total Sales: sum of all outstanding sell-side physical contracts.
Hedge Coverage: shows how much of your physical position is offset by financial contracts. This card is labelled "Least Hedged" when looking across multiple commodities, and relabels to "Hedge Coverage" when you filter down to a single commodity.
Stock on Hand: total grain in storage from NGRs that have been enabled for position reporting.

Using filters with the summary bar

The commodity and season filters at the top of the page apply to both the summary bar and all views below. Filtering to a single commodity will also change the "Least Hedged" card label to "Hedge Coverage" and show coverage specific to that commodity.
