Introduction
The By Type view organises your position by the source of the tonnage: Physical, Stock, or Financial. It is the highest-level summary and a good starting point when you want a quick read on overall exposure.
What you see
Physical Purchases / Physical Sales : open tonnage from buy and sell contracts respectively.
Stock : grain held in position-report enabled NGRs.
Financial : net position from financial/futures contracts.
Net Position : the combined total.
Gross mode vs Net mode
You can toggle between Gross and Net mode in this view. See the article "Gross Mode vs Net Mode" for a full explanation.
Drilling into contracts
Physical Purchases and Physical Sales values are clickable. Selecting a value opens the contracts page pre-filtered to the contracts that make up that number. Stock and Financial values are not clickable as they are not made up of contracts in the same way.
