There could be a couple of reasons for not being able to post a cash price or not being able to cash out. We will list some common reasons here:
Reasons for not being able to post a cash price:
- You are not an approved buyer at the site
- On some sites, only buyers approved by the site can post cash prices. In case you come across an error message like the one below, you might have to get in touch with the site manager
- A similar cash price already exists
- A user cannot have two cash prices of the same commodity, grade, season, and sustainability criterion posted on the same site. If you get a message that says "Cash Price already Exists," kindly check the current prices at the site
- To check current prices, simply head over to the My Active Prices tab and filter the prices to find the one you are trying to post
- You can Repost the cash price if you would like to change any details like price, end date, etc
- Issues in Bulk Prices Upload: While using the CSV feature to upload multiple prices, there could be a range of issues
- Incorrect site: Ensure that the site name is exactly copied from AgriChain. You can head over to Companies > "Company Name" > Sites and copy the site name
- Commodity/Grade Doesn't Exist: The grade should exist on the system and under the commodity. To ensure that you have entered the correct grade, you can search in the cash price upload form
- Incorrect Header Data/CSV Format: Ensure that you are not changing the headers in the given template. Please use the download template button to get the latest version of the upload template.
Unable to Cash Out
There could be a few of reasons for users not being able to cash out
- You don't have enough stock on site.
- Ensure that you have the required stock under the selected NGR at the site of the cash price
- There is not enough tonnage left in the price. Buyers set a limit on how much they are willing to take while posting a price. If the tonnage on the price is exhausted, then you will not be able to cash out on it
- The stock is not under a sustainable NGR; there are some prices that can only be cashed out against sustainable NGRs. Please reach out to us at support@agrichain.com to learn more.
