Unable to Post a Cash Price/ Unable to Cash Out

Modified on Thu, 17 Jul at 2:57 PM

Introduction
There can be several reasons why you may encounter issues while posting a cash price or attempting to cash out. Below are some of the most common scenarios:

Posting a Cash Price – Common Issues

1. Not an Approved Buyer at the Site
Some sites only allow cash price postings from approved buyers.
If you receive an error message indicating restricted access, you may need to contact the site manager for approval.

2. Duplicate Cash Price
A user cannot post multiple cash prices for the same commodity, grade, season, and sustainability criterion on the same site.
If you see a message like "Cash Price Already Exists," please check your active prices:

  • Go to My Active Prices

  • Apply relevant filters to locate existing entries

  • Use the Repost option if you want to modify details like price, end date, etc.

3. Issues with Bulk Price Uploads (CSV)
When uploading prices via CSV, you might face the following issues:

  • Incorrect Site Name: Ensure the site name is copied exactly as it appears in AgriChain. You can find it under Companies > [Company Name] > Sites.

  • Invalid Commodity/Grade: The grade must exist under the selected commodity in the system. Use the price upload form to search and confirm.

  • CSV Format Errors: Avoid altering the header fields in the template. Always use the latest version by clicking Download Template.

Unable to Cash Out – Common Issues

1. Insufficient Stock at the Site
You must have enough stock under the selected NGR at the relevant site to cash out.

2. Price Tonnage Limit Reached
Each posted price has a maximum tonnage limit. If the allocated tonnage has already been fulfilled, cashing out will no longer be possible.

3. Sustainability Restrictions
Some cash prices are only valid for stock under sustainable NGRs. If your stock does not meet this criterion, you won't be able to cash out.
