Read on if you want to understand why you can't find a storage or stock owner combination.
In Storages
Why can't I find my storage?
Only those storages are visible on the storages page that have some stock in them. If you are unable to see a storage in the storages listing it can have 2 reasons:
- The storage has been emptied
- The storage has been archived
We are going to deal with the empty storage scenario in this article.
Where are my empty storages?
Empty storages can be viewed in two ways, either from the "Empty Storages" dropdown in the storages view found at the bottom as the second last dropdown or from the storages dropdown by selecting "Empty Storages"
That's ok, but why is my storage empty?
Sometimes it might be difficult to understand how a certain storage has come empty. This can happen due to a stock update or in the course of normal inload/outload operations. The best way to understand what has caused the current state would be to look at past inloads/outloads on that storage. Luckily, AgriChain allows you to do this using something called the "Historical View".
What is the Historical View?
The historical view allows users to view those storages for commodities that have been emptied out.
In the example above, these are the storages that were emptied out for wheat. Using the "Historical View" allows us to peek into the list of all such storages.
How can I see why these storages are empty?
As usual, clicking on the storage line item will give us a list of all the loads in chronological order for that storage. From here, users can recreate how the storage was made empty.
As can be seen below, the loads tell the story of how this storage has come to be empty.
In My Stocks/ Third Party Stocks
Users can follow the steps above for a similar experience on "My Stocks" and "Third Party Stocks"
