Introduction

In scenarios where logistical activities (freight) are not under your purview in a commodity contract, AgriChain provides a straightforward process to mark contracts as complete without delving into extensive information about associated freight movements. This allows for efficient contract closure and subsequent invoicing for the delivered tonnage.

Steps to Mark a Contract as Complete

  • Click on 'Contracts' in the left navigation bar, providing access to a comprehensive list of commodity contracts associated with your profile.
  • Identify and click on the specific contract you intend to mark as complete without detailing freight movements.
  • Once selected, you will be directed to the detailed page of the chosen contract.
    Initiate 'Mark Complete'
  • Click on the 'three dot menu' button located on the top-right corner of the page.
  • From the actions list, opt for 'Mark Complete' to initiate the process.
  • A pop-up will appear, prompting you to input the necessary details to finalize the marking of the contract as complete.
  • After providing the relevant information, click on  at the bottom of the page to confirm the contract's completion.

Outcome

The marked contract will be treated as completed, generating a corresponding freight movement (load) to reflect the delivered tonnage. Subsequently, users gain the ability to invoice for the completed contract seamlessly.
