Creating a Freight Order Against a Call On Grain

Modified on Thu, 12 Jun at 10:59 AM

Introduction

A Call On Grain Order is used to indicate when a commodity (e.g. grain) should be delivered. On the other hand, the creation of a Freight Order against it will be used to organise the actual freight activities.

Thus, a Freight Order can be created against a Call On Grain Order if you are:

  • the party responsible for the actual delivery of the commodity, or
  • representing the party responsible for the actual delivery of the commodity (e.g. Broker)
