Call On Grain Order: Creating Freight Movements (loads) against a Call On Grain Order

Introduction

Freight Movements (loads) can be created against a Call On Grain Order.

This allows the tonnages to be accounted for whilst drawing down against the delivery tonnages on the Call On Grain Order.

To create a freight movement against a Call On Grain Order:

Method 1 - From the Freight Order Section

1. Log in to AgriChain using your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Freight Order module from the left-hand side menu.
3. On the top left-hand side of the page, click on the Call On Grain Orders tab.
4. Search, select, and click on the Call On Grain Order you wish to create a Freight Movement against.
5. You will then be brought to the Call On Grain Order's details page.
6. Along the top of the page, you will see a number of tabs showing the various actions and freight activities related to the Call On Grain.
7. Click on the "MOVEMENTS" tab.
8. On the right-hand side of the page, click on "+FREIGHT MOVEMENT".
9. You will then be brought to the Freight Movement creation page. This will be against the Call On Grain Order.
10. Input all the relevant details. Refer to the article: Creating freight Movement
11. Once completed, click on “Continue and Review” (bottom-right corner).
12. On the Freight movement Preview screen, cross-check all the details.
13. Click on “Submit” to proceed.
14. A pop-up will appear with the option to email PDF copies of the contract:
    1. Select the counterparty’s email address to send them a notification
    2. (Optional) Tick the "Acceptance Request" checkbox if you want approval from the counterparty.
    3. Click “Send Now” to trigger the email or “I’ll Do It Later” to skip it.
15. Your Freight Movement will be created against the Call On Grain Order and will draw down against its tonnage.

Method 2 - From the Freight Movements Section

1. Navigate to the Movements module from the left-hand side menu.
2. Click on the 'Freight Movements' section on the left navigation bar. You will then be brought to a list of all the movements linked to your company's account.
3. On the right hand side of the page, click on "+FREIGHT MOVEMENT".
4. You will then be brought to the Freight Movement creation page. 
5. At the very top of the page, in the General section:
   • In the Freight Movement Type field, select 'Seller To Buyer'. 
   • Once the page loads, in the Contract/Order Number field, select the relevant Call On Grain Order number. You can filter for this by selecting the Seller/Buyer in the field above.
6. Once the page loads, input all the relevant details. Refer to the article: Creating a freight movement
7. Once completed, click on “Continue and Review” (bottom-right corner).
8. On the Contract Preview screen, cross-check all the details.
9. Click on “Submit” to proceed.
