How to find your API Key for AgriChain Integration
AgriChain has the ability to integrate with Data Subscriber accounts with the National Grower Registry (NGR) Portal. To do so, AgriChain will require the API Key from your Data Subscriber NGR Portal account.
Access your NGR API Key
To access and generate your API Key, please follow the steps below:
Log in to your myNGR Data Subscriber Portal.
We recommend that you have a draft email open to copy/paste the username (DSid) and API key password that you are about to obtain.
Click and follow the pathway: Settings > Company Details
Under the ‘API Credentials’ Section, click on the ‘Reset Password’ link
A pop-up will appear to confirm whether you want to reset your password. Click on ‘Confirm’ to proceed.
Another pop-up titled ‘Password updated’ will appear, copy the API Password by clicking on ‘Copy to Clipboard’.

Common Questions
I have logged into the NGR Portal, but cannot locate my ‘API Credentials’ section. How do I find it?
There are three access levels for an Authorised User of a Data Subscriber NGR Account:
Listing (default)
Admin (able to add/remove users and change profiles)
Tech (ability to change APIs)
If a user cannot find (see) their ‘API Credentials’ section, this is due to not having the ‘Tech’ access above within the system.
To obtain access to your ‘API Credentials’ Section, get an Admin User to go into their: Settings > User Lists > Click on the plus (+) next to the Tech option for the relevant user requiring Tech access.
Once "Tech" access has been granted to the relevant user of your company, repeat the "Access your NGR API Key" steps above.
I am a Trader/Bulk Handler Company (BHC) and have been set up inaccurately as a Grower user type on the NGR Portal. How can I set up as a Data Subscriber on the NGR Portal?
In the event that you have been set up as a Grower user type on the NGR Portal but require to be set up as a Data Subscriber, please get in touch with the NGR directly to convert your account, using the details below:

Once your user type account has been converted to a Data Subscriber NGR account, repeat the “Access your NGR API Key” steps above.
