Introduction
This guide will guide you on how to set up the battery-powered Epson TP-80II-801 printer for docket printing via our AgriChain mobile app.
Note: This printer only has Bluetooth connectivity
Requirement:
- EPSON TP-80II-801 (SKU: C31CK00801)
- iOS (iOS 16/iPadOS 16 and above) or Android devices (Android 10 [API Level 29] and above)
- Latest AgriChain App
- USB Type-C for charging
When the printer is used for the first time, the battery needs to be charged for approximately 2.5 hours. To start pairing, you will need you prepare your devices (iOS and Android) to connect to the printer.
Set up your devices (iOS and Android):
- On your device, please navigate to 'Settings'
- Open 'Bluetooth' Menu
- Turn on Bluetooth.
Once your devices are ready, please proceed to prepare the printer for connection.

Once the printer is in ‘Pairing Mode,’ please pair it with your device through the Bluetooth menu.
The device name should appear as 'TP-80II-xxx' in your Bluetooth menu on your device
The pairing process might take a couple of seconds to a minute. Once pairing is successful, the Bluetooth icon on the printer will stop blinking. You may now head to the AgriChain mobile app to check if the printer is connected.
To check the printer status on the AgriChain mobile app:
- Log in to the AgriChain mobile app
- In the main screen, locate the hamburger menu (located in the top left corner of the screen).
- Tap on 'Settings'.
- Look for 'Printer Status' and ensure that it is online.
- Once it is online, you may use the printer to print any dockets/tickets.
To charge the battery of the printer, please use the provided USB Type-C cable and plug it into any USB Type-C charger/wall plug.
Only the USB Type-C standard power mode is supported. The charging time varies depending on the power supply capability and settings of the USB power adapter and port.
Tips and Troubleshooting:
- Bluetooth Pairing Issues: If the printer doesn’t appear in the Bluetooth device list, restart both the printer and the device, and try pairing again.
- Firmware Updates: Ensure that the printer firmware is up-to-date to avoid compatibility issues.
