Introduction

In AgriChain, there are various types of stock views designed to help users effectively manage their stocks across different contexts. Each view provides a specific perspective on stock information, making it easier to track, allocate, and reconcile inventory.

This article explains each stock view module, outlining what the module is used for

By understanding the different stock views, users can make better decisions, reduce errors, and streamline their stock management processes in AgriChain.

The stocks module gives access to five different modules:

  1. Storages View (subscriber only)
  2. My Stocks
  3. Third-party stocks (subscriber only)
  4. Containers (subscriber only)
  5. Stock Swaps (subscriber only)
  6. Site View

Stock Views Defined:

Storages View (Subscriber Only)

The Storages View gives users visibility of stock stored in various storages at their sites without regard for ownership. This means any stock stored at the site will be reflected here; it will also include stock not owned by the site owner.

Stock is segregated in this view only on the basis of storage, and commodities, grades, seasons, and varieties can be combined if kept in the same storage.

My Stocks

This module is available for all users and shows stocks owned by the user at their own site and at any sites owned by a subscribed user. Stocks owned by you at non-subscriber sites will not be shown.

Here, the stocks are shown by location/commodity/NGR/grade combinations; multiple seasons and varieties are combined.

Third-Party Stocks (Subscriber Only)

Third-party stock allows site managers to view and control stock stored at sites that are owned and managed by the company.

Similar to My Stocks, division is done on the basis of location, commodity, NGR/Grade and season, and varieties are combined.

Containers (Subscriber Only)

AgriChain facilitates the packaging, movement, and management of containers. With the "Containers" module, users can view the various containers stored at their sites.

Similar to the "Storages View," stock is segregated and displayed on the basis of location, commodity, and container combinations, and multiple grades, seasons, and varieties are combined.

Stock Swaps (Subscriber Only)

As the name suggests, the stock swap tab allows site managers to track and analyse swaps carried out at their sites. This is only available to subscribed users.

Site View

The site view allows users to view a complete chronological history of all the stock at any given site
