Introduction
Making changes to a freight order in AgriChain is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to amend a freight order:
Step By Step Instructions to Amend a Freight Order:
Navigate to the Order Module from the left-hand side menu
Select Freight Order tab
Look for the freight order that you would like to amend. You may also use the search bar and filters to locate the order.
Once you have located the order, open the order page.
Click on the 3-dot menu next to the record or in the top-right of the detail page.
Select ‘Amend’ from the dropdown options.
Amend the details of the order.
- Once completed, click on “Continue and Review” (bottom-right corner).
- On the Order Preview screen, cross-check all the details.
- Click on “Submit” to proceed.
- A pop-up will appear with the option to email PDF copies of the contract:
- Select the counterparty’s email address to send them a notification
- (Optional) Tick the "Acceptance Request" checkbox if you want approval from the counterparty.
- Click “Send Now” to trigger the email or “I’ll Do It Later” to skip it.
FAQs
Why can't I amend certain details (i.e. the field is locked)?
The reason why you cannot amend certain details of the order is to maintain data integrity. In such cases, please void and duplicate the orders.
