Amending a Freight Movement

Introduction

Efficient management of freight movements often requires adjustments and amendments to ensure accuracy and compliance. AgriChain simplifies the process of amending freight movements with intuitive tools and functionalities.

How to Amend a Movement:

1. Log in to AgriChain using your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Movement module from the left-hand side menu.
3. Search for and select the specific freight movement that you wish to amend from the displayed list. Click on the freight movement to proceed.
4. Upon selecting the freight movement, you will be directed to its dedicated page. Here, locate the 'three-dot menu' positioned in the top-right corner of the page.
5. Click on the 'three-dot menu' and choose the 'Amend' option from the drop-down menu. This action will prompt a new window labelled 'Amend Freight Movement' to appear on the screen.
6. Within the 'Amend Freight Movement' window, review the editable fields and make the necessary revisions or updates to the freight movement details.
7. Once completed, click on “Continue and Review” (bottom-right corner).
8. A pop-up will appear (subject to "Show Email Pop-up" setting is enabled for the company) with the option to email PDF copies of the contract:
   1. Select the counterparty’s email address to send them a notification.
   2. (Optional) Tick the "Acceptance Request" checkbox if you want approval from the counterparty.
   3. Click “Send Now” to trigger the email or “I’ll Do It Later” to skip it.
      

Please note that, depending on the status of the freight movement, the system will determine the extent to which you are permitted to edit the details. Any amendments made will be sent to the relevant counterparties for approval if you have checked the acceptance required button.
