Introduction

Voiding a freight movement on AgriChain is a straightforward process that allows users to cancel or invalidate a previously scheduled transportation activity. This guide outlines the steps to void a freight movement effectively.

Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Void a Freight Movement:

1. Log in to AgriChain using your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Movement module from the left-hand side menu.
   
3. Identify and select the specific freight movement you wish to void from the list.
4. Once you've accessed the details page of the selected freight movement, locate the three-dot menu button positioned in the top-right corner of the page.
5. Click on the three-dot menu button to reveal a drop-down menu of available actions.
6. From the actions list, select "Void" to initiate the voiding process for the selected freight movement.
7. Provide a reason for voiding the freight movement as prompted by the system.
8. After entering the reason, click on the button to confirm and finalise the voiding of the freight movement.
9. A pop-up will appear (subject to "Show Email Pop-up" setting is enabled for the company) with the option to email PDF copies of the contract:
   1. Select the counterparty’s email address to send them a notification.
   2. (Optional) Tick the "Acceptance Request" checkbox if you want approval from the counterparty.
   3. Click “Send Now” to trigger the email or “I’ll Do It Later” to skip it.
