Introduction
Voiding an order (Freight Order/ Call on grain Order/ Pick-up Order/ Deliver Order helps clean up records when an order is mistakenly created, duplicated, or canceled. This ensures no future actions (like movement bookings) are taken against it. The following steps guide you through voiding an order correctly.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Void a Order
- Log in to AgriChain using your credentials.
- Navigate to the Orders module from the left-hand side menu.
- Use the filters or search bar to locate the Order you want to void.
- Click on the 3-dot menu located on the right side of the order line item or inside the order details.
- Select the “Void” option from the dropdown menu.
- A pop-up will appear asking for confirmation. Enter the reason for voiding the order in the comment box.
- Click on “Confirm” to proceed.
- The order will now be marked as Void and will no longer be usable.
Note:
You can view voided contracts on the respective order listing page by selecting the "Include Void" checkbox.

Can a voided Order be reinstated or reversed?
No, once a freight order is voided, it cannot be reinstated or reversed. Users should exercise caution when initiating the voiding process.
Will voiding a Freight Order affect any ongoing transactions or contractual obligations?
Voiding a Freight Order will ensure that it is no longer actionable, potentially preventing any further actions or transactions associated with the order. Users should communicate any necessary adjustments to relevant parties to avoid disruptions.
I am unable to void a contract due to contract status.
Order status is not amongst Open/Confirmed/Planned/Confirmation Pending.
