Introduction
The Freight Scheduler module allows logistics providers to easily manage their trucks and orders from one screen. Users can use this to book slots, create movements, and track trucks.
How to Access Freight Scheduler?
- Log in to AgriChain using your credentials.
- Navigate to the Freight Scheduler module from the left-hand side menu.
Using the Freight Scheduler:
Upon opening the Freight Scheduler calendar screen, users will notice two main things:
- The list of orders on the left
- The calendar is divided by various trucks
The objective is to be able to select an order and then easily create a movement for it for a particular truck, at the same time being able to see all the planned movements against each truck.
Steps to Create Movement using Freight Scheduler:
- Select an Order that has tonnage remaining against it. This is visible in the top right corner of each order card
- Once an order is selected, it will be highlighted in the orders list.
- Now, click on any blank date spot in any truck lane to bring up the movement creation from.
- This will create "unexecuted" movements for those dates and the trucks in whose lane the movement is added.
- Clicking on this movement will bring up the movement creation form.
- Once users have added all the details, they can choose to save or execute the movement.
- Once executed, a planned movement will be created, and only then will the slot be booked.
- Once a slot is booked, the colour is changed depending on the status of the movement.
