Why am I unable to generate a Freight Invoice?

The AgriChain platform takes into account all the different terms and conditions, and factors linked to a freight order. Thus, if you are unable to generate a Freight Invoice, the following may be affecting it.

  1. Freight Order Invoicing
    • Under the 'Freight Order Details' in a freight order, the invoicing term selected will determine the authority and ability to generate a freight invoice.
    • There are currently two options: 1) Freight Provider to Invoice Customer and 2) Customer RCTI.
    • As such, if you selected invoicing as 'Customer RCTI' then, the customer of the Freight Order on the AgriChain platform will be responsible for generating the freight invoice. Similarly, if you selected invoicing as 'Freight Provider to Invoice Customer' then,  freight provider of the freight order will be able to freight invoice.
  2. Delivered Freight Movements
    • Before Freight Movements can appear under the 'Items To Be Invoiced' section on freight invoice creation form, they must be delivered. 
    • Once freight movements are delivered, they will then appear accordingly.
