Customer Only Freight Movements (Not Linked to Commodity Contract)

The ability and authority to mark a freight movement as Complete lies with the Customer/Consignee of the Freight Movement.

In the event that the Customer/Consignee are both unregistered users of the AgriChain platform, the ability and authority to mark a freight movement as complete will be given to:

  • Freight Provider of the Freight Movement and
  • Consignor of the Freight Movement

Seller To Buyer Freight Movements (Linked to Commodity Contract)

The ability and authority to mark a freight movement as Complete lies with the Buyer/Buyer's Broker/Consignee of the Freight Movement.

In the event that the Buyer/Buyer's Broker/Consignee are all unregistered users of the AgriChain platform, the ability and authority to mark a freight movement as complete will be given to:

  • The Seller,
  • The Seller's Broker,
  • The Consignor and
  • The Freight Provider

Although Freight Movements get delivered without some of the key pickup and delivery details, in order to mark a Freight Movement Complete, the following details in Inload and Outload details must be filled:

  • Consignee

  • Inload Grade
