What is site booking?
Site booking is a calendar that allows AgriChain users to control and plan for trucks coming in and out of their sites. This is a paid feature and users can get in touch at support@agrichain.com to enable order booking at their sites.
With order booking turned on, site managers can open slots at their sites that can be booked by trucks wishing to come to the site. When order booking is enabled at a site, planned movements cannot then be made for those sites if there are no open slots.
How can site managers open slots for their sites?
To open a slot at your site simply follow the steps below:
- Click on the "Site Management" section on the left hand side navigation bar.
- You will then be brought to the company's site page.
- On the upper left hand side of the page, select the site you wish to create a slot for.
- Upon doing so, users can see all the slots already open/booked on that site.
- Click on the time period that you wish to create a slot for.
- Clicking on an empty slot will bring up the slot form. Simply ensure that the Status is "Planned" and click save.
- You can now observe that an empty slot has been created for the given time.
- Users can also use the given fields to specify the kind of trucks this slot is applicable for.
