Prerequisites for submitting PRA & PEMS on Grainstor

Modified on Wed, 22 Oct at 3:26 PM

Introduction

AgriChain and Grainstor are integrated systems, where the latter can be used to submit PRA and PEMS records.

However, the following processes must be first be completed operationally (on the ground) using AgriChain, prior to submitting PRA & PEMS records on Grainstor:

  1. Create Pack Order(s)
  2. Upload Empty Container(s)
  3. Pack Container(s)

Refer to the following articles:

Key Points For Using Grainstor

  • A 1-Stop Account and 1-Stop Third Party Code will need to be provided to AgriChain & Grainstor for setup prior to any submissions.
  • Grainstor will be installed locally on the nominated device (e.g. laptop) of the Authorised Officer(s).
  • Grainstor does not have Request for Permit (RFP) submissions and this will need to be managed outside AgriChain and Grainstor, using an approved Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Export Documentation System (EXDOC). RFPs are to be submitted by Exporters, not Packers.
  • On AgriChain:
    • When creating a Pack Order on AgriChain, the Customer is who you are packing the grain for. For example, the Customer can be the same as the Seller and the Packing Provider.
    • When uploading Empty Containers against a Pack Order using the CSV Template, the Release No. must be included.
  • All amendments to a Pack Order should be done on AgriChain as amendments done on Grainstor will not sync back to AgriChain.
