To add an company/office, simply head over to companies > Go to office > > Fill details > Save
To edit an company/office, simply head over to companies > Go to office > Click and make changes > Save
Companies (including your own) may have multiple offices located throughout one or more states/territories. It is important to record all offices operated by a company, as this allows AgriChain system alerts and documentation to be delivered to the correct employees within a company.
For example, if a company has one office in Sydney and another office in Perth, these offices may deal with completely different customers or even commodities. By assigning NSW employees to the Sydney office and WA employees to the Perth office, system alerts and documentation can be directed to the relevant people. If there are employees who operate across multiple offices, it is possible to assign them to 'All Offices'.
To add or edit the offices associated to a company:
- Click on 'Companies' in the left navigation bar. You will then be brought to the companies directory linked to your profile.
- Find and click on the company in the directory you want to edit. You will then be brought to the company details page for that company.
- Along the top of the page you will see a number of tabs that will show the various details and settings for the company. Click on the 'Offices' tab.
- To add an office, click the 'Office' button in the top-right of the screen.
- To edit an existing office, find the office in the list and click on it.
- For each office you will be able to define the:
- Name - used to identify the office (e.g. 'Head Office' or 'Toowoomba Office')
- Address - the address or location of the office (this field is verified by Google)
- Phone/mobile - the primary phone number for the office
- Fax - the primary fax number for the office (if applicable)
- Once you have finished adding or editing the office, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the form.
You can manage the offices for your own company from within Company Details
Note:
- If you are not able to edit office details for a company, it is likely that the company is currently an AgriChain user, the office details will be locked and you will not be able to edit them. This is because the company controls their own office details in the AgriChain system. If you believe their office details need amending, please contact the company directly.
- If the company is not an AgriChain user but has already been added to the global directory by another user, the office details will be automatically populated, but can still be edited by you. Please note that if you make changes to the office details, these changes will be system-wide and all other AgriChain users with that company in their directory will be able to see the changes you make.
- If the company has never been added to the AgriChain system by any user, you will need to enter the office details to complete their profile.
