Storages View (Subscriber Only)
As the name suggests, the Storages View (available only to subscribers) allows users to view stock stored at the various storages at their sites, regardless of ownership.
On opening the storage view tab, users will see stock sorted by commodity. A location can be selected from the filter on the left of the header, and all the locations owned and managed by the users will appear here.
Clicking on a commodity will give a storage-wise distribution of that commodity:
Here, multiple grades or seasons of a commodity that lie in the same storage are bundled together. In the example above, "Storage 102" shows "Multiple" in the Grade and Season column. This is because it contains wheat of more than one grade and season.
A particular storage can be found using the search bar.
Clicking on the 3-dot action menu gives users options to manage stock:
- Loads: View a chronological list of loads for that storage and commodity combination.
- Empty Stock: This allows users to empty out a particular storage of a commodity. The empty stock option will automatically create loads to bring the total tonnage in storage to '0'. In cases of positive stock, it leads to the creation of outloads and inloads in cases of negative tonnage.
- Update Stock: This option can be used to manage the tonnage of a commodity in storage. As in empty stock, the system automatically creates loads to bring stock to the updated tonnage.
- Storage to Storage Transfer: Simply transfer the stock of a commodity from one storage to another.
Please note: Stocks as reflected in the storage view might not always reconcile with stocks shown in ownership views (My Stocks and Third Party Stocks). This is due to the fact that stock may be updated in the storage view that is not associated with a load in the ownership view.
