How can I download a summary of all stocks at my sites?

While it is simple to view all the stocks at your sites owned by you or in your care using the stocks module, AgriChain also gives users the ability to download a report with all their current stocks.

  1. To do this, users simply have to navigate to one of the ownership views - My Stocks or Third Party Stocks - depending on whether you wish to generate a report for your own stocks or stocks in your care.
  2. From here a click on the  in the top right corner and choosing the Stocks CSV option will bring up the Download Stocks Report form

Navigating the Stocks Data Form

While it is easy to understand most of the fields in the Stock Data Form, there are a few features to make reporting a breeze for AgriChain users.

  1. Select All Data: For all the form fields, simply leave them blank to select all the possible items in that category. For example, to select all locations, simply leave location(s) blank.
  2. Get stocks as they were on a particular date: If users need to check how stock looked on a particular date in the past, the "Stocks As On" feature makes it as easy as a single click. By selecting the date they would like to see the stock for here, users will be able to download a copy of the report as it would have been on that particular date.
  3. Club Grades Together: Normally the Stocks CSV would give you all your stocks separated by Owner, Commodity,  Location, Grade, and Season. However there may be instances where the bifurcation by grade is less important than knowing the ownership by commodity and location. In these cases, the "Club Grades Together" option can be used. This will create line items based not on grades but ownership, commodity, and site.
